TMA Knowledge Center
The TMA Knowledge Center is your “one-stop shop” for answers to a wide variety of topics such as HIPAA, medical records, general legal issues, membership, meetings, CME, publications, programs, and more.
The goal of the Knowledge Center is to provide members with accurate, timely, and complete answers to their inquiries. These inquiries are also tracked to better tailor programs and services to member needs.
Knowledge Center staff includes information specialists who are available to take calls and answer your e-mails Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 5:15 pm (CST) as well as a full-time medical librarian to assist you with clinical and socio-economic reference and research. Online resources include free access to full-text resources such as MDConsult, online textbooks and journals, as well as FAQs on a variety of topics.
The Knowledge Center also houses the History of Medicine Collection and TMA Archives (more than 8,000 items including books, papers, photographs, and artifacts).
