Greg Haralson


Greg Haralson is the Chief Executive Officer of Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital where he has been in leadership for over 2 years. In addition to his responsibilities of leading MHSL, Greg was recently named the Oncology Service Line Executive for the Memorial Hermann Health System. Over the span of his 15 years in healthcare, his career has primarily centered around hospital operations, strategic planning, physician recruitment and project management.  Under his leadership Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital has experienced tremendous growth while being recognized as one of the 100 Great Community Hospitals in the nation by Becker’s Hospital Review as well as being named a 100 Top Hospital by Truven Health Analytics for the 3rd time in four years.  His team describes him as a servant leader who places a high value on building relationships of trust which allows his leaders to flourish. Prior to his current position, he spent over 12 years at three hospitals within HCA in the North Texas area including Medical City Dallas, Las Colinas Medical Center, and Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth.  Greg is a native Texan who was born and raised in Amarillo, and holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and a master’s from Trinity University.  He is board certified in healthcare management and is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.  Greg is married to his wife Alison of 15 years and they have with two children.
